It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Panu Tevarutmaneekul on 4 November 2021. Mr. Panu served as the Secretary-General of SEAFDEC from 1999 to 2003. Mr. Panu would be remembered and forever praised for his management of SEAFDEC that led to the great progress of the organization and advanced the development of the fisheries sector of Southeast Asia. We express our condolence to the family of Mr. Panu during this time of sorrow, and SEAFDEC staff wish to assure them that Mr. Panu will always be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
