Second Inter-Departmental Consultation on Preparation of SEASOFIA 2022

The Second Inter-Departmental Consultation on Preparation of SEASOFIA 2022 was organized by SEAFDEC Secretariat through the Google Meet on 1 October 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand to continue the work plan of preparation of SEASOFIA in finalizing the draft outline of SEASOFIA 2022. The Consultation was attended by the SEAFDEC Secretary-General, Deputy Secretary-General, senior officials, and information-related officers from SEAFDEC Secretariat as well as contact persons from TD, MFRD, AQD, MFRDMD, and IFRMD who are responsible for the preparation of inputs for SEASOFIA 2022.

The Consultation focused on the finalization of the draft outline of SEASOFIA 2022 including the short description of the write-up of each topic, set of questionnaire to gather additional inputs from the ASEAN Member States, and other preparation work to ensure that the publication would contain useful information in depicting the status and trend of fisheries and aquaculture of the Southeast Asian region.
